Given the circumstances its competitive and thats the only compliment I can give it. Will be sick if Myers and Baugley stay in the side. Too slow and would rather lose by 10 goals but have youngsters playing and getting a taste e.g Laverde and Ridley.

Not even sure I can bring myself to watch the last two games. So sick of being let down by this amateur organisation over and over. Haven't watched a Worsfold presser all year just the same tripe win or lose. It feels like any culture we had is long in the past now and we just keep on speeding away from it like it's the zombie apocalypse.
Not looking forward to the fallout when we aren't in finals once again just going to set us back even further. Just wish that one day EFC would get their s**t together I mean how hard is it really it's just footy ffs.

I'm starting to think it might not be all doom and gloom and we actually might be some chance to win this match.
We were never going to beat the Bulldogs and haven't for over 5 years - having a heap of players out didnt help.
But it looks like we will get 3 or 4 decent players back and as finals are on the line I expect the whole team to lift and put in a decent show.
It looks like Stringer, Smack & Fanta may all be OK to play - and surely one or two of them is due to put in a good show...

Learn to embrace and enjoy the fall out. I know I do and with it comes a sense of familiarity, security and warmness. Like when you have spent a week away from home and crawl into your own bed and put your head on your own pillow and remember your old pillow is way past it’s used by date but that doesn’t matter for tonight.
I’m actually a bit worried about myself if we experience success!

The other side of the coin is we just appointed Rutten and our defence has been awesome this year (bar the last two weeks) plus we now have Caracella and hopefully a gun performance manager to come in. We have a lot of talented young players. We have a head of department who is will to make changes. Woosha can lead and with the right strategy and fitness guys we could be good. Get us a decent ruckman in and Joe back and we could be better than the seventh best team....

Then eviscerate pies next week under Friday night lights to cement a finals spot and go on a Bulldogs type run to a flag.

We have pulled out all the stops. Rested hurls, tbell and Saad. Freshened up McKenna with an overseas trip. Sacked two coaches and the head of fitness and hired a new coach. Even tanked two games horribly to ensure we are underdogs in every game we play.
