I'm honestly in two minds about this.

Getting a run and carving it could set him up. Getting trashed could ruin him.

I just think that he would find space against the Bombers, in particular, and have an impact.

However, I doubt that it would happen.

That was some game for Peel on the weekend.

Massive,massive game for us. The bombers looking seriously good. Would be awesome if we could bounce back and beat them. Would restore my confidence in the boys. Will be close I think. Its been a tough weekend being thrashed like we did. Go Dockers!

As a neutral I'm looking forward to this game as it shapes as a great contest between two very good sides

That I'm guaranteed to see a team that shits me lose is a bonus. The only other result is a draw which would still be hilarious

I went to last years game an have never been as loud or proud before wiith everything going on i thought Hird wouldnt be coaching and would be sacked. Everything was against us and we got smashed early nly to come back and win somehow. Anyway a great game.

However this year we look even better. It will help that you guys get an extra 2 days recovery over us.

I think you lose some confidence from last week and Barlow and Fyfe out will be seen as a big loss again this week. Surely Z.Clarke, C.Pearce, Sylvia, Simpson and co have to be picked along with Dawson.

I just think we will beat you guys around the stoppages we under Bomber have become a huge bodied midfield that would even rival Ling, Bartel, Ablett, J.Selwood pound for pound weight wise.

Myers, Watson and Hocking lead the charge with others like Goddard, Heppell, Zacka, Stanton around the pill for their strengths. Hocking was probably BOG tonight and i expect him to do a fair job on Mundy again like last year. Ryder should also be back.

Reasons why you can beat us:
S.Hill - quick players kill us usually and if we dont tag him (which i dont think we will) then he could cause some serious damage
Sandi - We may have no rucks again this week and even Ryder is hardly a true ruck and we could lose the hitouts which could mean our big bodies are neutralised in the guts
Home advantage - An extra 2 days recover, plus i expect some good INs and at Subi (although we have played it well lately against you guys)

Good luck should be another good game. Ive never been as confident about my side before and am usually very non biased i hope thats not the case now.

To be completely honest I think you'll win. Not having a hissy fit over the hawks match, just simply can't see how there midfield wont tear us apart. They've got a good forward line, seriously who is going to stop Chappy?

Its hard to see the 190cm 95kg giants (Hocking, Watson, Goddard, Myers) plus the other 85-90kg (Heppell, Zacka, Stants) being beaten by a now small midfield in Neale, Suban, S.Hill, D.Pearce ect (Mundy i know is big but if Hocking can do a job (which id be really confident in) then it will be tough. Need C.Pearce, Mundy and Deboer on ball all day with Crowley on a wing tagging stants.

Dons to go in as favourites, no one will argue with that, but Freo are now unpredictable in their matchups. If Deboer, Suban, spends huge amounts of time in the midfield we are stuffed.
If Sylvia, C Pearce, Mundy, Crowls, and I would add Spurr in the midfield rotations can play a role, and negate your advantage, Hill, Pearce, will
destroy you on the outside. Sandilands will have a blinder, thanks to Mathews. Last year Crammeri did some damage, with Ryder sniping Elvis, and you had the Hird factor, this year we are the ones under the pump, with
plenty to prove.

Sheridan, Suban and Mzungu had a poor game. Hannath has not kicked any goals this year which is not good enough.

C Pearce must come in, as must Clarke.

Sylvia played his best game for the year and should be considered, and I think Simpson needs one or two more good games before he gets a game.
