I wrote here and on other sites that I thought we would never see Fyfe and Walters in the Purple again.
I have been proven wrong.
I was at the game on Saturday. Saw him do some good things. I was glad of what I saw him do.
But I arrived home yesrteday, put on the replay and I was blown away with what I saw. Not the Brownlow fyfe, but a player that still has it. Great body use, to protect team mates. Still see the game a bit before a lot of others. Great hands and vision.
I just hope we can see much more of that from him for the remainder of the season.
Also, watching Murphy Reid at the game, you see things that happen when he is in the open and think, WOW, what do we have here.
Then watch the replay, and you think, I never saw that during the game. How did he just do that.
Like the hand ball to Brayshaw in the last quarter.
Like the almost basketball bounce to make the ball come back to him, Done with one hand reaching into a pack.
We have an amazing young kid, still learing the game.We have won the lottery on this one.

For all the talk of Bolton's tackle, how good was Johnno's on the wing about 5 minutes earlier. At the time I really considered it to be a match saving moment.

I have been critical of Johnno’s horrible disposal, but I thought he had a good game, was an important part of our great first quarter and crowned his match with that tackle.

could see we were all out of gas at that point, and i thought johnno had lost the tackle at a point bu was able to hang on for dear life! great efforts from a bunch of players to just contest the footy in those last minutes! desperate stuff!

I was surprised the gold coast player didn't release the ball by handball during that tackle, but I'm assuming there was a Dockers player in front so the HTB free was the lesser evil rather than a quicker turnover.

Either that or he was so cooked he just didn't think to release haha.
