Why would they give up a 20k+ contract to come back for between 5 and 7k?

I just hope Freo management do a strong review and sort out some of the issues in women's footy in WA. It is not good for the club to have a poor performing womens team.

Why move across the country for 3 months for 15k.

The loss of marquee players through injury is season cruelling. With the dropoff in talent, not having your best player/s on the field makes a huge difference.

Most of the marquee girls were given jobs with their respective clubs, the marquee status has provided great opportunity for them, highly doubtful any will come back

Maybe we can change our marquees. Be nice to have a ruck/forward seeing as though we seem to suck in that area. Although Janz looked good on the weekend.

Janz had four handballs and no kicks or marks for the game. King beat her in the hitouts but Janz did well opposed to the back ups from Collingwood. Saying that she was upgrade in the ruck as at least there was some aggression in her play. Gets another shot.

I think Houghton can be the tall, did ok there when moved forward, needs to play a full WAWFL season to get some footy experience. (Although i fear its usefulness without some changes in the comp).

Bowers gets us a better midfield next season.
But tall stocks are very thin.
