Interesting to see if there's anything to it.

I was wondering whether there would be any blowback on the S&C dept due to us looking pretty sluggish come the business end of the season. It's a tough juggling act though, particularly if demands are put upon them to get the team off to a flying start with the tough early fixture we had last year.

I kept expecting us to suddenly reinvigorate after some sort of taper towards the end of the year, but it never eventuated.

Interestingly, he described Michael Walters as being the player that got most under his skin (& said Ballantyne didn't bother him). I assume this interview was recorded well before he knew he was coming to Freo.
