I have a bung foot at the moment, and consequently am supposed to be reclining with foot raised. So, yesterday, I grabbed a game at random from my library of games to watch while I was lying in said position.

It was the game Freo v Melbourne @ Subi - about Rd 17, 2005.

Our three best players that day were Thornton, Schammer and Hasleby.

Can't wait till Hase is back fully fit - I think we sometimes forget just how good he really is; and I certainly wouldn't be labelling Scotty-too-Hotty Thornton as a non-starter in our side once he's fit and firing again.

Oh depth on our list is a wonderful thing!

He is incredibly important next year. He has struggled for 2 years, so opposition sides will have put little thought into containing him. Should really benefit from Sandilands development.

Thornton is one of Connolly's favourites, and will be in the 22 if fit. Another dashing defender to add to an already strong group.

both sides have fairly potent forward lines

HF:Schammer, Tarrant, Hasleby
FF: Murphy, Pavlich, Farmer

im hoping ours looks something like this

HF: Motlop, Tredrea, White
FF: Pettigrew ,Willits, Ebert

I wouldnt call that much of a potent forward line but whateva gets you going.
