If the story on the main board is correct French has gone to Carlton, so what do you Sturt supporters think? I know he wasn't a full time player with the Blues, but he was certainly vital to your premiership success. Any thoughts, ideas what this may mean to Sturt?

Pretty disappointed but the fact remains he is (was) a Power player and it's their perogative to do with him as they wish and Barney wants to play at the highest level.

We had him when it mattered.

To be honest I think we would have won without him, the whole side were awesome that day.

I'd tend to disagree about your comment on winning the GF, mainly because he added an extra dimension to your ruck/defence in the last two finals Sturt played.
However, as you guys won, and deserved to do so, dammit, I aint going to debate the issue.

Very disappointed he's going to be leaving Adelaide, but what better club for him to go to...

Agree with you BB, we have only had him for what, maybe 10 games since 1999?

At least he will have a crack at being the #1 ruckman given Matty Allan's injury worries. His game time was limited with PAPS, hopefully he will blossom at Carlton - Sturt fans know what he is capable of, hope he kicks some serious butt with Carlton!

I'm pretty sure he was on our rookie list for the 1998 season.
