Well yeah of course people loved him when he started winning. That doesn't mean they're automatically bandwagonners. As i said, people love him because he's a gentleman and a magician on the court and people pay good money to see him play.

So basically you hate Rog, because you think you tipped Nadal at a young age to be a superstar before anyone else did, and thus, he is the better player in your eyes regardless of what Roger does, and in turn he must better than the other guy with all the Band-wagon supporters.

Australian 27th seed Sam Stosur made an impressive start to her French Open campaign when she thrashed American Jamea Jackson 6-1 6-2.

Stosur needed just 55 minutes to brush aside the world No.98, breaking her five times to set up a likely second-round clash with Russian Maria Kirilenko, who was leading 6-3 5-0 in her match with Italian Maria Elena Camerin.

Big-serving Australian Chris Guccione won the opening set 8-6 in a tiebreaker before his match with Greek qualifier Konstantinos Economidis was interrupted by rain.

Should Guccione progress, he will almost certainly clash with Spanish ninth seed Tommy Robredo, who led 6-3 6-4 2-1 in his first-round battle with Argentine Sergio Roitman.

Outside the inevitable that Nadal and Fed will meet in the final. Who are people's smokeys in the unlikely event either of these two slip up. I think Davydenko @ $41 is pretty good value as well as Dojkovic. In the womens I think Jankovic will win and Sharapova (seeded 2) @ $21 is pretty good value

What a choke from Del Potro. He was serving at 5-3, 30-0 and now Nadal is serving for the set. He got so tight and threw away so many great chances and once you’ve let up Nadal doesn’t let you back in.

But what an amazing talent Del Potro is. He’s so gangly and needs to work on his shot selection but he has unbelievable potential. He generates immense power off both his backhand and forehand, the former especially. Will be one heck of a player in a few years time.

And Andreev just ended Roddick’s French Open campaign in 4 sets; for some reason I thought Roddick won the first two sets. But it was a terrific display from Andreev.

Do your damn research, it will be the same speed as it was before, with more consistent bounce, better in the heat and will reduce ankle injuries. Roddick, Seles, Davenport and even Rafter have complained in the past about AO's rebound ace. The change to flexipave will benefit all players on tour.

Why shouldn't the Australian Open favour AUSTRALIAN players. The courts should favour the home players. But in this case it doesn't. All it does is reduce the injuries and make the bounce more even!
