I reckon every win should count towards rankings, but obviously different weightings. Sometimes ELO ratings are better than official rankings.

did I read correctly Tistsipas and Rublev are playing tonight then flying across to Paris to play again tomorrow? That would not be ideal prep leading into a first round of a Slam.
Tsitsipas vs rublev Hamburg final on now good fun to watch. Is this the first time a grand slam and another top level final have been played at the exact same time?

I see he didnt compete at the US Open so at least this mess in Paris wasn't the reason that broke his consecutive slam streak (67). That would of been a real shame. To add to that, Feliciano Lopez is about to embark on his 74th straight grand slam appearance lol.

Venus, seriously, get a spare ball in your pocket. we are half an hour into this match and we are not even in the 5th game. waiting 20 seconds between 1st and 2nd serve is beyond annoying, especially when you are serving under 50%

The tennis is so so slow. several rally shots are not even reaching the baseline.
If this is the tennis for the next 2 weeks, it is going to be trying tournament.
