she been injured for most of it. She was way underdone this tournament.

She has been alright since winning. Gotta remember that the French was her second solo title.

She shouldn’t be losing to Parry jeez.

De Minaur was pretty average what I saw last night.

That’s one way to put it. However I might sound like a broken record but what do you expect when you have zero weapons, yeah he’s solid but that’s pretty much it.

Still should have won in the end, dead set served horribly and it’s what cost him badly I’d hate to know the first serve percentage in the last few games after he was up a break in the 5th…

Disappointing result seeing De Minaur lose, surely he needs to get a new coach. On another note, i loved the tribute they did to Tsonga last night, always had a level of respect for Tsonga, would have probably won slams if he was born in any other era

Not sure a new coach changes much. What weapons does he have? Before you say the ability to compete that is not not a weapon, every top player has that. Everything in his game is 6-7 out of 10 with nothing at the elite level. He’s where I expected, at best top 15 in the world

I didn't see the 5th but he seemed to be missing a standard balls he would normally make

Not sure what a new coach could do for him though, the only way for him to generate more power while keeping the ball in the court is to change his forehand grip, which is absolutely impossible at this stage of a career. Even learning to stop pulling up off his backhand so badly would most likely take more than a full offseason of drills just on that and then another half a year of sacrificing results to practice it in matches. I think at this point we need to accept him for what he is, appreciate his wins and hope a draw falls apart on grass or fast hardcourt sometime in the next 5 years to give him a shot at a major final.

Not sure if you remember the match but AO final 2008 against Djokovic, he had set point at I believe 6-5 in the 4th on Djoko's serve to take it to 5 with Djoko seemingly cramping, has a very simple short forehand passing shot and goes crosscourt straight to where Djoko is covering. Djoko wins the point with a reflex volley, goes on to hold and take the match in the 4th set tiebreak. I still have nightmares about it.

Going to miss Tsonga. One of my all time favourite tennis players.

Played well to get the break and had two games where he couldn’t get a serve in (broken both times). Played an awful tie breaker.

Lots of big names surviving in 5 sets so far.

Lots of comebacks from 0-2 sets down also.

The Alcatraz match was sensational. I arrive in a Paris on Sunday
