Walters - how we have missed him.
Taberner - looked like a footballer today. Took some marks, presented on some leads, looked like a bloke who knew what the game plan was.
Silvagni - solid game.
Hill - cut them to ribbons after half-time.
Mundy - clearance king
Stadium - one week closer to the new stadium.

We let them kick some goals in junk time.
Neale & Johnson were a bit wayward with their kicking, but still got lots of the ball.

Just like last year Lyon has your guys peaking leading into September. You played about 1 1/2 quarters against Geelong and nearly beat them. I only managed to watch today's game after halftime, the attack on Hawthorns ball carrier was very impressive.

Yeah fyfe may have an issue or two. But it could be a good rest for him and his shoulders
SOS and Dawson's kicking - just stops my heart everytime they are about to release it. Great to have Mz back today and Sutcliffe continues to grow

Mundy's clearances - I was thinking at quarter time he should have kept delaying his contract talks - hes been average since re-signing. Stepped up massively with Fyfe having the heavy tag

Tabs - good to see him clunk a few and have a pretty clean touch. Just needs a few tweaks and could be a great lead up forward combo with the Ape in the years to come

Positives - Chris Mayne was clunking marks.
- Son Son isnt afraid to kick for goal.
- Taberner has gained some confidence.
- Silvagni played decent.
- Mundy and Barlow got alot of the ball.
- The whole team looks hungry.

Negatives - Bruest cleaned us up.
- We are still vulnerable on the turnover
- Some sloppy disposal. (esp. 2nd Quarter)


We are definitely a finals chance.

Positives:
Knocked off the Hawks for the first time since Elimination Final 2010
Taberner played a pretty decent last 2.5 quarters
Walters....how we have missed him
Pavlich.....say no more
Pressure on the Hawks was the best in any game against them for quite some time
Clearances after quarter time were superb led by Mundy
Actually kicked over 100 points against a good team (there is hope there)

Negatives:
Fyfe - MRP trouble
Field kicking - at times rather ordinary and bombing the ball aimlessly or dribbling it along the ground....just a lack of composure
First quarter - painful to watch at times with lack of discipline and seemingly looking outclassed

Opportunities:
We have to learn to bring that pressure more regularly instead of flicking a switch whenever we desire
Our field kicking and Inside 50 entries also need to be tidied up. While we improved as the game went on, it was frustrating to watch at times.

Great game by Silvagni to slot straight in and do an excellent job. His ball use has improved a lot from he first came to the club too.
Walters was amazing in his comeback game.
Taberner played well, and our structure was much better with him in the team.

Negatives: I wouldn't want to be Suban or De Boer right now. Can't see either of them getting another run this year with the form of the guys currently in the team and Morabito carving it up in the WAFL.

Positives - wow great game. My highlight: Maynes courageous mark! Could help but give him a standing ovation.

Negatives - fyfe could be rubbed out for atleast a week

That forward line looks so much more dangerous with Crozier and Walters in it. Add Ballantyne, and that is definitely the way to go for the rest of the year.
