Didn't he specifically say he preferred the forward line? I think Meek would come in as #1 Ruck.

Yes he did say that, but team needs are more important for a few games. IF Darcy and Sandilands were not available my preferred option would be Lobb and Taberner sharing ruck, and add in McCarthy to the forward line (possibly Cox). Especially given Lobb was unconvincing as a pure forward in this game.

I thought Bailey Banfield was BOG
Was in everything, tackles hard ball use was good.

Hogan was outstanding.
Tabs was good.
Cerra did some nice stuff. I didn’t think he was as good as Nick Rynne but he did some silky stuff.
Walters and Mundy looked good.

The white backs were tidy.
Lobb: nothing really went right for him. Dropped marks, missed shots, spoils went to the opposition.

Liked the games of North Giro and Crowden. All got stuck in and worked hard.

Dixon looked good when he got it
