With Rhys Palmer leaving the Dockers - half of their clubs success has walked out the door hanging around Rhys' neck.

The club will be left with only Haze's medal to celebrate.

Which is why I don't get why Freo are so happy Rhys is leaving. They've turned a pick 7 Rising Star into Pick 19 at best - and are claiming great success.

So long Fremantled Rhys - it's not so much that he couldn't hit the side of a barn, more that he didn't know there was a barn to kick at in the first place!

Reg - what do you mean?

Posters like this just bring much mirth and merriment - not offended.

I just don't get how turning a Pick 7 rising star into Pick 19 is a win.

lol @ the flogmantle board bagging out Palmer now that he's leaving. When we drafted Masten over him all I heard was them prattling on about how Palmer is so much better, now he's apparently a spud and they are better off without him.

From a non Sandgroper perspective, I honestly can't see how Fremantle can cause West Coast offended.

Can someone please explain to me why they think they can??

Because no matter how good they thought they were, or how bad they thought Fremantle were, they could not buy a derby win for years and Freo supporters quite rightly poured scorn on them.

The psychological scarring was obviously horrific, especially from the highly successful, and always amusing, Hey Woosh thread.

Not really. It produced one of the worst grand finals in history for watchability, and brought the whole competition into disrepute.

But you go girl.
I can see how you might not have liked watching it

All that success - it'd be like watching a foreign film without the subtitles for a Docker's fan.
