Maybe is my expectation of tucker , those that play wafl eg croz, grey,Hughes and tab at least got one stand out game , so far tucker got none.

FYI I have no idea who took seven contested marks in 1999.

The closest to that was Clive, who took 6 against the Hawks in 1999. When I looked it up I saw the name Andrew McGovern....if only we'd given him 37 more games, imagine his offspring playing for us right now.

Poor first half but very good second half. Neale was sensational throughout along with Kersten and Taberner. Hill was good but did get a lot of it in junk time and didn't provide much defensively. His superior running power stood out though against a tired bombers team.

Thought Blakely was fantastic as well and is really building. Brady Grey again played his role beautifully and along with Balic put together good games. Weller made a few blues but I like the fact they were errors trying to be positive and take the game on which we needed.

Ibbo wasn't great and I still worry about his slow decision making and ball movement which is a concern for a medium defender. Sutcliffe wasn't great either and potentially they could be replaced by Logue and Ryan for the long term.

Overall though it was a good win and again showed our running power and scoring ability late.

Good thing with Tabs being a threat is that it will force people to pay him respect, and allow Kersten and McCarthy to be more damaging. All he needs to do is keep presenting and crashing the odd pack to remind people he's there

I do think working on his ruck craft will help him with his body on body work and improve him as a forward

I know Rosco doesn't develop youf and all but really impressed with the way they have handled Blakely. He is developing into a star. Him being dropped last year and being given run with roles have been great moves.

That 2014 draft is looking decent for us Weller, Blakely & Langdon as well as Hughes in the rookie draft. Looking at the top 10 picks in 2014 we did very well. Petracca looks the goods at 2 and Heeney @ 18 will be the best but Weller at 13 is a good get. Blakely is next level.

Biggest positive was Taberner for me, great to see him do well - he has all the tools to be a good key forward. Fyfe, Neale, Walters, Blakely great through the midfield.

Brad Hill's game wasn't really that good, but he does provide useful run and obviously has a good work-rate.

Tucker or Weller could be vulnerable outs for Danyle Pearce?

I though Walters turned the game along with Neale. Sonson was in everything in the second half.
Yeah sure did. His kicks are the best at the club, just polished and low. He's too good to just have get the ball barely 10 times down forward. Let him run around and do damage as much as he can. B Hill and him were brilliant in the last quarter. That Walters snatch from Kelly and handball to Hill happened so quick yet they just knew it was gonna happen. Can't teach that

Blakely > Lamb. Oh never going to stop saying that one.
