True, but Crom are also coming off a 6 day break after a very gruelling game against GWS and they're about as young as us. And they kicked the same amount of behinds as us in the last qtr.

Overall we did the bare minimum to keep the wolves at bay, next week will tell us a lot more than tonight.

I think there's truth to this but the fact there's truth to this is perhaps one of the issues: Totally makes sense we're struggling to fire after some tough breaks but it also doesn't seem like the messaging of a coach needing redemption

I agree. Adelaide are class. In fact they were a bad umpiring decision off beating Gold Coast and they would have been second on the ladder coming into this round if they had and their only other loss was 19 points versus Geelong.

we're hold on here but we've only played 2 good quarters tonight against a midtable team. not confident about our upcoming stretch of games tbh. Thank God Jacko is coming back.

Rinse and repeat. Adelaide are very unlucky to not be top 2 and most certainly not a mid table team. Im very confident for our next few games with Jacko back next week and NOD two weeks after that. Young, Darcy and Bolton still building fitness. Wagner made our midfield look so much better this week compared to last week.
