I’m sure some of you have never stepped foot on a footy field or if you did you were shit. You all wanted intensity & pressure & they gave that for 3 quarters. It’s not sustainable to be that manic & they had nothing left at the end. Good reminder to everyone preparing to drink the bath water this week that we aren’t actually good and can’t lock in for a whole game.

Obviously there's plenty of criticism to be had with some of the decision making, but it's quite sad some people can't take the night off and just enjoy the win. Completely agree.

It's not that deep at the end of the day. I fear for some people's blood pressure on here.

I agree. Adelaide are class. In fact they were a bad umpiring decision off beating Gold Coast and they would have been second on the ladder coming into this round if they had and their only other loss was 19 points versus Geelong.

Rinse and repeat. Adelaide are very unlucky to not be top 2 and most certainly not a mid table team. Im very confident for our next few games with Jacko back next week and NOD two weeks after that. Young, Darcy and Bolton still building fitness. Wagner made our midfield look so much better this week compared to last week.

Hmmm. I might be a little harsh on the Crows. But they're a young team who started their rebuild after us and aren't the best travellers. They've never beaten us at Optus Stadium. I still think it's a "solid" win but nothing more.

In 2025 before this round Adelaide has lost one away game and that was by a point.against a red hot Gold Coast. I think its a massive win and I also think Adelaide will finish top 6 this year. At their best they play the most attacking football in the AFL (with GWS) in my opinion,

For what its worth Im fine with anyone disagreeing with my views but the main reason I thought the win was a more complete performance than many commenting here was because I thought coming into the game we were set up for a situation where Adelaide would be able to run over the top of us in the last quarter. We were coming off two games where we had six day breaks and had to travel interstate and Adelaide are one of the hardest running teams in the AFL in my opinion. Adelalde were playing close to their best possible side bar Fogarty.

In my opinion there was a massive jump in our pressure this game compared to any other game this year. Bringing in 3 quick players in Narkle, Wagner and Chappy for 3 slow players for the positions they play in Banfield, Aish and O'Meara certainly added to our pressure and I thought Dudley was terrific in that area before being subbed.

Im confident we compete against anyone if we apply that type of pressure we applied for 3 quarters for an entire game which will be easier to achieve if we are not coming off multiple six day breaks. Wagner playing midfield looked like a fantastic move and that was the other major positive for mine.

Yeah we got on the end of plenty of cheapies early on. Had like 17 FKs by midway through the second quarter. That last quarter there were a few instances where consecutive frees got crows end to end.

Also wtf was the Dudley advantage? The ump hadn't even blown the whistle when he kicked it.

interact on the field. Incase people are unaware the West did a recent article explaining how Wayne is Isiah's uncle and how Wayne played a massive role in Dudley's path to the AFL. Eddie Betts is also Wombat's uncle so he come from a family with some impressive footy achievements. Im pretty sure Wayne was his nephews direct opponent at times which would be a very rare event in afl history.
