guys

i am hoping that someone on here can assist me. i am looking for somebody attending Sundays freo v hawks game to be able to buy me the footy record for this game. I use to get the interstate records from the AFL, but they have stuffed me around too much in the past, by charging me for it, and never sending it, so i stopped using them.

i would obviously pay for the record and postage to send it to me as well.

If someone can assist me, please send me a pm, and we can go from there.

thank you

You might be in luck because according the Chris Fagan (Hawks GM of football operation) he is a chance to make the trip and play after recovering earlier than expected

as much as i would be happy if he didn't play given he is an absolute gun, do you actually believe the club would take the risk with him? didn't they confirm it was an MCL? thought that would have been 2-3 weeks minimum. Seems to me like you guys might be playing mind games :P whats the update on Hodge, my old man is also a Hawthorn supporter and is under the impression that both Hodge and Suckling are in a bit of doubt?

I don't reckon Gunston will play, too soon. MCL's can be ok at training but games are a different story. Too much risk in the lead up to finals but if he does GREAT! Freo need to play teams at their best or close to, can't get by hoping players aren't playing.

Hodge will play. Tough as nails.

And sorry langers for being facetious, I'd help you out but I won't be going. You must have quite the collection though.

According the club, Hodgey is fine and it was more to do with his workload and limiting that which explains the sub. Suckers had the flu yesterday but trained today so I assume will be fine.
The article/vid is here if you want to have a quick look

I hope Gunston does play, hell I wish they would have their best 22 out there. A win against a full strength team would do us the world of good. A loss against a 2nd string team will finish us off for the year. It is to our benefit to play the strongest hawks team possible.
I think there are almost as many good reasons for the hawks to send over Box Hill as there are for them trying to win this game.

Watching on Sunday, got tickets! :) is block 337 undercover? Planning what to wear, as it will be wet if it's not undercover. Advise please.

I'm not familiar with that end of the ground but there is a roof over the block. Whether it covers your seats or not is another matter. I'd probably take some wet weather gear just in case.

If it's only a slight possibility of rain I just dress in normal clothes & make sure I have a change of shirt/jumper in the car.

Now cos I live in Melbourne and it's always raining, I bought myself a nice purple Freo rainjacket/hoodie thing. I'm not a fan of wearing plastic bags.

Thanks! Will be in row C, so that may mean it's not under cover. Free tickets, so beggars can't be choosers. :( how does one dress for a potential soaking?

Rubbish bag raincoats. Can't beat them.

And if you feel like kicking up your heels and hitting the town after the game....

You can turn that raincoat into any number of stunning evening dresses.

Yeah, rubbish bag poncho, also bring a spare and a towel to sort your seat out when you go piss or get a delicious and economical Carlton Midstrength.

This. I used to do this all the time but last time I was in Melbourne I managed to get a Freo hoody and spray jacket for the price you'd pay for one of them over here so I now take a spray jacket. Rubbish bags work just as well.

Im in 333 and we avoid pretty much most of the bad weather. I think 337 is further round so you should be pretty good

I can't figure out from the seating plan whether it's undercover, it's definitely further up and on the city side. Hopefully I don't find myself surrounded by hawks fans!
