Excuse Hawks have some young players but they have a plan to follow

Reality as well.

Losing the contested possessions and clearances in this manner is a size and experience thing.

Not arguing there's no structural issues, I clearly state there is.

Tucker has to go back to peel next week. May aswell start the ins and outs for next week.

Out : Tucker
Duman
Sheridan
Sutcliffe
Jones

In Crowden
North
Tabener
Bennell
Strnadica

Won’t happen but that’s what I would do

Two debutants would be worth watching
Not a lot of point in that really. Crowden has no awareness and gets caught out all the time at the top level. North isn't fit and has done nothing even in the WAFL. Strnadica has shown promise but for whatever reason isn't considered ready for the top level.
Bennell & Tabs yes.
Unfortunately though personnel isn't the problem today. Today shows yet again that we have a coach who is so stubborn he continues to try the same thing over and over and over and over again despite getting the same result every time. He seems to believe if the players try hard enough they can overcome a gameplan that has been proven to have no chance of success against Hawthorn.

You can sense the desperation from Lyon. He's moving players all over the place. Hey guess what Ross? If you coach the players as a system rather than encouraging any individual brilliance or skill the system stays the same no matter who you put where.

It’s not all about the coach. Yes he should of tried a few things but clearly hawthorn has a lot more experienced players. Burgoyne,bruest,smith,roughhead... the list goes on. We have Cerra, brayshaw, giro, banfield,Jones the list goes on all in their first year

He's a small crumbing forward but Ross isn't playing him as such. Ballas and Walters were once both very dangerous small forwards but have been killed by Ross's gameplan of pushing right up the field and sprinting back when we win the ball.

His skills are pretty poor. Kicks a decent goal but * he’s limited.
