I'm watching this today with a Pies supporter. I've already let him know that if we win I will sledge him mercilessly. If we lose it doesn't matter because it's just preseason and the results aren't the point of the game.

Aren't pre season games streamed via the AFL website? Otherwise the new Watch AFL website is quite good, if you are a member it is free

Importantly, if some JLT games might be played at Cockburn in future can you see the ground from the water slides and pools? And is there plans for a pool with a bar? Training watching would be so much better if you could swim over, grab a drink and wade whilst watching the players sweat up a storm.

Nil chance of pre-season games ever being played at Cockburn.
There is no provision for spectators... None, no future grandstand or seating and the water slide and playground is the other side of the club building.
It is my only criticism of the facility.

What about the second oval? I remember someone from the women's team suggesting future games might be played there.

I don't think they are. They don't even seem to put the replays up anymore unless you pay to subscribe, unless I'm looking in the wrong place?

Would love to hear that we show more direction, structures, defensively, but also an attacking flair when it is our turn to
attack.
I don't know if its the players or coaching, but we do not switch seamlessly, something has to give because the old
gameplan doesnt work against fast, skilled, disciplined teams.
More teams are trying to emulate this style of modern footy, with so many coaches coming from the tutelage of Clarkson.
Ross needs to keep his defensive style, but allow the freedom, to take the game on when it our turn to use the ball.

May as well start the post game discussions now. After the last game with the Sutcliffe bagging it turned out that posters couldn't even agree on whether he was playing on/demolishing Darling or not. Didn't matter. He was deemed a spud and a must drop.
