He had a higher disposal efficiency that all of our big three midfielders and less clangers??? Hardly butchering it.

The game was not even. Sydney were cleaner when they had the ball, we had kicks smothered, missed players by foot and hand and panicked at crucial stages of the match. Yes there were some instances of the Swans getting the rub but I really feel they played up to their level today and we did not. Mundy spent the first half worrying about Kennedy instead of attacking the ball for example.
How Ballas can let his man accumulate 24 touches especially when Malceski was subbed out of the game is inexcusable. McVeigh at times moved into that HB quarterback and was critical in breaking the game open at the end of the third.
Too many down players in the purple for anyone to say the game was even or affected by umpires.

PearceD was sh!tful in almost every way. His hands were clearly covered in butter. Couldn't pick up the ball, slipped off his tackles. Kicking was very good. But overall was almost a waste of space.

Tabs and Clarke... Only one was necessary. Tabs may be handy next week though... So maybe that's why he dodged the bullet.

I have just come from the game. I feel just as gutted as when we lost the GF because I know what that loss means we can talk up out chances all you like, but a fresh Hawthorn is going to be a big task. And even of we manage that a fresh Sydney will be even tougher massive loss.

Agree. Lyon made a terrible mistake there imo. He never looked likely in this game.

In hindsight it didn't look like the best choice however we didnt have much height available in that game.

Blame the umpires all you want but once again Fremantle choked in front of goals when on the big stage. Will lose again next week.
