Is it just me or is this the worst year for umpiring in the modern game? You need a law degree to read into the rules now a days, they are misinterpreted, they are read into, the rules have changed to the point even professional players don't full understand them. This use to be a sport of 2 teams of men fighting, and AFL are slowly taking that out of the game. The fact that Kerr's kick a long the boundary, aiming for a player was deliberate was the icing on the cake. More then ever games are being decided on how the ump feels

At the end of the day players deffinately deliberately push the ball out of bounds or fake fumble etc.. But they are only ever paid in really extreme examples.
Hopefully not a new interpretation for the rest of the season.
