you beautiful people!I'd rather watch 3 hours straight of the NAB "Put your hands in the air!" ad than St.K vs Carl this Friday night.
Bullshit. No one expected Carlton to be a finals team this year. St.Kilda makes some kind of sense at least. Both were expected to be on the up when the fixture was drawn up.
Take 1 off each of those. Round 23 isnt set so everyones listed as Friday.Saints have 3 Friday night games in last 7 rounds, Carlton have 2.

Going to be as boring as another thread about the friday night games
Honestly just bump another thread you attention seeking twat
AFL should have a flexible fixture with a couple options and set it 8 rounds in advance.
Coll v WCE should swap with Stk v Carl

They'll get Good Friday or Good Friday Eve next year plus some additional Friday night action off the back of this year, so probably get used to it.Yeah because Collingwood don't get nearly enough primetime marquee games.
So who is your first pick?Anyone remember in primary school when you had a game of footy and two team captains pick their teams then by the end there are one or two kids that can’t catch, lack any coordination, no one likes them, they’re fat and or smelly, but they have to be picked anyway. Then one day the teacher decides to throw them a bone and make the dorky fat kids captain for one day of the year and they get to pick the teams.
Nah you pick first. So who is your first pick?
This. Except footy finds a way of flipping things around these days. They'll probably play off in the granny next year. Both were expected to be on the up when the fixture was drawn up.

I don't recall anyone predicting Carlton in the finals. Basically every year Carlton get too many Friday fixtures ever since malthouseBoth were expected to be on the up when the fixture was drawn up.

Since it wasn't unreasonable to think the Saints wouldn't be terrible this year, this is really just an extension of all the Carlton friday night threads.
I personally think Saints will give them a flogging. Depending on who you barrack for that might be enjoyable. In the unlikely even Carlton win, the Saints board will be amazing for those fans of schadenfreude. If you are going to stalk other teams boards you need to at least have watched the game for context.
