After high school, have u stayed in touch with friends, or have u moved on and made new friends at uni/tafe/work???

Well, there was a time when me and Fat Cat were best friends, but I haven't heard from him for a long, long time.

Apart from him though, Chandler Bing is my favourite Friend.

Well seeing as though I can't comment due to the fact I'm still in school, but I was actually telling a friend a while ago, how many of my friends I thought I would stay friends with later in life. I said exactly the second option, 2-3 friends that I still catch up with. I'm pretty sure I know who these would be too. But us as people are always making new friends all the time, I could have completely different ones next year
Chandler is my fave too ;)

Yeah, thats kinda why we aren't friends any more...

i started this topic because im currently in yr 11, i have plenty of friends, but no really really top friends and i just wanted ppls thoughts.

Cheers.

I have been best friends with someone since we were 7. We're still as close not as we ever were.

Being 31, friends do start to drift the longer time passes. I do still have a fairly close-knit group from high school. There's 6 of us, and we regularly catch up.

I've also worked for the same company for 11 years, and there's 3 of us that have been there all that time.

All of the above will be my friends for life.

I have two friends whom I have known since we were six years old. We went through 12 years of school together and uni together. We are still as close as we ever were and see each other all the time. One of them even shares my house. We grew up together and we'll still be friends when we are 70 years old with grandchildren!

I have a few different groups of friends

i got my primary school mates - probably about 4-5 who i see fairly often

i got my high school mates - used to be a big group of us...like about 12...a few fell out of contact, others became to christened out and dont hang around the rest of us anymore, and that has left 3 regulars and 3 semi regulars...altho i do keep in contact with the rest of them. So id say 6-7 high school friends

then i got my rave friends, about 8-10 of them who i met thru 1 or 2 of my primary school mates...so now im good mates with them and see them all the time too

then there is my bigfooty mates...they know who they are, most of them are in victoria tho.

After high school, there was a fairly big group of us that still hung out and saw each other every two weeks or whatever....around 12 or so people. Now thats gone down to 5-6 people who i see regularly...and the rest i see sorta every 2-3 months or so.

its all good tho...im happy with my groups of mates

Here's my thoughts. Having just finished school last year, already I've only been in touch with a few as friends. My best friends are the ones I've known since I was 5, most of them being from my hometown of Leongatha. Friends from school I consider mates, I can talk to them and get along well, but I don't consider them close. Having not started Uni I cant comment on that, but i hope to meet plenty of new people there.

Despite finishing school only 3 months ago, i already seem to have lost touch with a few of them. I've mainly made new friends who do stuff i do, and the less "compatible" ones who i usually hung out with at school do their own thing. I only ever see most of them at parties. Life changes very quickly, nothing is as i planned for it to be at this stage in my life, and i'm only 18.

Im in Year 12 at the moment.

I hope to keep close with my friends.

however, there are some w*nkers in the year-group that I don't wanna see again after graduation.

Is the golf course there any good. I'm making the trip down the SE Gippsland Hwy to play there next and I want to know whether I'm wasting my time.

depends, there is 2

the one out of town towards koonwarra is quite good, the one in the town, at the recreation centre, is a shocker.

Actually I played with him in under 14's. He was actually 16 but so small he had to play in a younger division. And I went to school with his sister :D
