Hi guys, saw my Specialist on Tuesday and he told me that before surgery I need to build up my strength
So tomorrow I am back in hospital for 3 days for my 7th round of chemo. One foot in front of the other
Bragging beyond what is normally possible if you go to amazon.com and you type in The Mysterious Bottle by Neill Jones...
It is me. I can’t publish it as a paperback because I don’t have enough pages so that’s my new job
Cheers, Neill
P.s. Thank you for your support it is gratefully appreciated, especially the donations

Good luck Rabbit.
As Sean Connery said in Hunt for Red October....once more Vasillie we battle our cat and mouse game with the American Navy.

I am sure you will get the parallels

Best of luck and as Richo says be strong at the contest...

See you round 1 2019

IMG_0449.jpg This is a picture of my foot on my last visit to hospital for chemotherapy. My foot swelled up and after 70 minutes a nurse responded to my call. She looked at my foot and said, "It's big isn't it?" (I would prefer she was talking about a different body part but no) She also suggested that I do more exercise missing the part where my file says...5 ankle surgeries.
So no more visits to hospital for me, I will get my treatment done at my Oncologist's rooms.
But moving on to better news, Christie and Lauren, fabulous people from White Light Publishing, are going to publish my book. I am going to be an author and get to hold a book I have written in my hands.
Then they floored me by saying that not only are they going to publish The Mysterious Bottle, but they will publish the other 20 books I have written.
Stay tuned and get your wallets ready

My god, 20 books! You could be the next JK Rowling! Nice work dude, I'll be sure to get a copy. Keep on punching.

Thank you for your comments. It certainly lifts my spirits.
I had my 8th round of chemo on Wednesday and here is the bottle that they gave me.
About 4cm wide and 20cm long
I was most grateful when they told me that I wore the bottle around my neck
Yeah hahahaha! I bet! Keep fighting the good fight, Bugs. We're all with you.

Hi guys,
Serious question. Because of the port in my chest I cannot swim, do weights, play golf etc.
Not likely to be able to do so in the future either.
I have a set of golf clubs that are unused, never hit a golf club in anger.
So I am going to put them up on gumtree and am hoping that someone in the Saint's community can give me an idea of what I should be asking
IMG_0499.JPG IMG_0500.JPG IMG_0501.JPG IMG_0502.JPG The irons are 3,4,5,6,7 and pitching iron, a couple of fairway woods, a driver and a Ping putter
Thanking you in advance,
Neill

Hi Rabbit,

Head to ozgolf.net

You'll get a true idea and possible buyers there

Thanks Toxic
I will check out the website
My mate of 43 years is a Collingwood supporter and I was barracking for you in the
Grand final. Free kick every single time
Mind you, 2010 wasn’t a good year

What size are they Rabbs? You might get a taker here?

Hi Kegs, the clubs are right handed and for someone around 185cm tall if that helps
Seller definitely going out of business and prepared to negotiate
Cheers

Only about 15cm too long for this rotund little man. Good luck with selling them. I know you'll find an owner soon enough

Just a heads up, if they are standard length clubs they're perfectly suitable for anyone 5"8 to 6ft.

After 6ft you may need 1/2" or 1" longer

Hi Toxic,
The club handle has standard written on the grip. This means I lose a 1/2 inch to an inch doesn’t it?
Sadly I’m just normal
Cheers

Most likely means its a standard sized grip.

You can get all variations of grip thickness now

Hi guys,
Had a big meeting with the family over Christmas and I have decided to not go ahead with the surgery offered to me. Having my stomach lining removed as well as the four cancerous tumours and any organs that the cancer has attached itself to means 10-14 hours on the operating table. 2-3 weeks in hospital and then back again weekly, then monthly to check out whether the surgery was successful and perhaps more surgery.
I want my family and friends to remember me as I am, not attached to tubes lying on a hospital bed in intensive care. My Oncologist has told me that if I keep going with my chemotherapy I can expect to live another 3-5 months, maybe more, maybe less.
Thank you for all of your encouragement and support, it has really been appreciated.
But before I shuffle off this mortal coil I am going to try and publish as many books as I can and my first book is ready to go. If you have any cash left over from Christmas and you want a great book for boys to read go to http://bit.ly/TheMysteriousBottle buy a book and I will do everything possible that I can to be at our first game on Sunday March 24th at 1:10 pm to sign a copy for you.
Cheers,
Neill

Congratulations on the book. It sounds like a brave decision Neill, just hope you can hang in to see next season, hopefully it will be a good one. I hope you got to enjoy a great family Christmas together too. I'll get a copy of your book for my kids.
