This is definitely the best of the three.
The prequel Hangmans Daughter and the sequel Texas Blood Money are merely expoiting the reputation of the first.

Totally agree 35 eye, Hangmans Daughter wasn't bad, but Texas Blood money stank.

M29 it is obvious you hate Tarantino, Lol you can't even spell his name. (Tarrintino).

I think Tarantino rules.:D

Oddly enough I prefer the first half. I love the work of both Tarantino and Rodriguez, but have a preference for Quents' style :)

The 2nd half, directed by RR, while fun... doesn't make me think as much as the 1st half.

but it's all down to personal preference. I know plenty of people who think the WHOLe thing sucks ;-)

Love that movie!!!!! Tarantino (Jackie Brown, Reservior Dogs, Pulp Fiction) rocks!!! Rodriguez also rocks and directed one of my other favourite movies Desperado!! I also think Tarantino is quite a reasonable actor.

Anyways i remember watching the movie for the first time and i didnt know anything about it, someone just put it on and half way through i was thinking this is a pretty cool movie and then the whole thing just did a 360 and it was awesome!! Top ****ing movie. if you havent seen it, see it!

From Dusk til Dawn is a fantastic movie!

Had to laugh when I first saw it with my ex, we were almost halfway and she says to me "I thought you said it was about vampires" and I said "I bloody thought it was".. then it started :)

Shame I can't remember who I lent my copy of it to :(

All Tarantino does is rip off others.

Hong Kong action flicks for his 'crime' stuff.

Dario Argento/Joe D'Amato etc and other 60's 70's euro 'trash' films for his horror stuff.

Very derivative filmmaker. Not saying the films cant be okay (R.Dogs is a terrific flick) but he isnt the 'genius' that hes been called.

Still, it did have Salma in that bikini..... ;)

I love From Dusk till Dawn, it's one of my favourite films, but Channel 7 made a real hack of it. I can't see why the commercial stations have to make cuts to late night movies. Sure young kids can tape them, but they can hire or buy videos which are every bit as bad.
