The reality is you have to have a bit of patience and put some faith in them sometimes. We don’t do that

Mynott and perhaps Draper are the only youth that I think are hard done by.

Ridley in all honesty did get a lot of opportunity. Sure he was dropped a couple of times, but he'll be back because his form warrants it.

Mynott and Draper should have received an opportunity, but both probably only really deserved a chance in the last couple of weeks. I can see why they wouldn't risk playing them against Collingwood and Geelong though. Draper would probably have played this week if not for the injury.

Can't think of any other young player ready for senior football that was overlooked. Players like Langford, Francis and Parish need to earn selection and grab their chance. That's AFL football.

Hahaha. The deluded posters on here saying our season isn't over are like an extension of the club/board. So unaware of the reality of how dire our position is.

We're a game outside the 8. We're unlikely to get in, but to say it's definitely not all over.

Look we're 3-5. I'm not disputing that it'll be tough to make the 8 from here but we're literally 4 points and 3% out of the 8 right now. If we get a roll on now, and teams like Richmond, Footscray, Fremantle slip up we can gain momentum and possibly open a gap to them.

Don't disagree it's not all lost, it's an even season and anything can happen and we've had enough injuries to 'structure' players to claim if we could get some of them back we could play better.

The problem is we have been worked out, everybody is following the how to beat the bombers blueprint and turning it into a numbers game around the footy and forward of the footy and we just cant play smart enough footy for long enough.... Our whole bomb it a mass of people, then chopping it off on the exit then following the process again and again and again isn't going to win enough games to be any threat at all.
