From one Hawthorn supporter to another...

I'm curious....I was just catching up on the battle between the hawthorn supporters and CiK on the AFL board, when I began thinking...Why are we always abused all the time?? I mean, if other supporters aren't ripping into our colours (which just shows their intellect and maturity) they proceed ripping into our players, who they claim aren't good enough for the game. Upon thinking about this for a while, I came to the conclusion that while I don't care what these people think, I think they are afraid that we have a team that has the mould to go all the way very soon and will be a hawthorn of the 80s. Unfortunately for CiK, his team is a sinking ship and all I can say to him is that we were there four/five years ago and look at us now......How intimidating we must look!!

The thing about our rise is we built it with clever drafting of kids we need....and they continued that last draft when they went for midfielders....i have liked how we have seen our deficiences and fixed them...but as yet we still havent really fixed our basic skills...but that will hopefully come as the young guys come through ...ries, greene, clarke,picione,bowyer,williams,bateman,johnson...as we can imagine when these kids become regular senior players we are gonna have a kick ass midfield....along with the proven stars of crawford and harford...

our new era is approaching us lets all support it this time not like the 80's when we were the best team and had bugger all members...

Exciting times are ahead and it awaits us...

My conclusion is that 'Carey is King' is a ****. I think he is fighting to become mayor of ****sville. He is pretty much assured the position if he keeps up his ****y attitude. Good luck mate.
