Fruit and Veg do you eat enough?

Seeing as I am a vegetarian, yes I do, I don't like broccoli, or brussell sprouts, but love the rest & all fruit is yummy. :thumbsu:

I eat a lot more fruit and veggies than I used to.

We've got some excellent fruit available, although I've found that the further from the city you buy your fruit (or should that be, closer to the farm), the better the fruit. I always stop off at those roadside fruit stands as they seem to always have fruit that, while it doesn't look the best, the flavour is excellent. Anyway, I avoid buying fruit at supermarkets, and get mine from farmers markets. Not only is it cheaper, but I reckon that it tastes better too.

The only vegetable I don't like is brussel sprouts. They seem to be what dirty wet socks would be like in texture and flavour. By far my favourite vegetable is Chinese broccoli, but that is very much a hit and miss vegetable when it's cooked. At it's best, it's sublime - crunchy and sweet. But when it's over or undercooked, it can be bitter and mushy.
