Why do we continue to put in efforts like this? 4-5 goals against us in quick succession, effectively ends our chance of a win. And it's not like this happens once in a blue moon. It's happened against C'Wood, Geelong and now Essendon. All 3 competing for a top 8 pos. Why does this happen? Surely the coaches would focus on working on these, yet, again, we mangae to defy all odds and do it time and time again. Good teams don't let that happen. Needless to say, I'm surprised the cops haven't been called to my house on reports of a domestic. Even though the roommates are out on the town and I'm home alone.

I thought it would be pretty obvious that were not good enough.

I watched the Bulldogs today and they at least showed they wanted to win at all cost and put plenty of physical pressure on their opponents and low and behold they won. We let Essendon prance around like the peptide ****ter cheats they are and we got what we deserved.

I honestly don't get the whole Hardwick being a hard player because he ain't a hard coach our players are softer than butter. Soon Ellis and Vlastuin will be pussy footing around like Vickery FFS the influence is horrid. A good coach would have us playing finals and winning finals. Our list is strong at the top but weak in the head. I'll put my hand up for coach I at least have an idea what it takes to win a game with passion!

Here we go again, blame the coach. That's the good old Richmond mentality isn't it! Sack another coach. This is the very reason why this club has done nothing for the past 30 odd years. We hit a few hurdles and people start calling for the coaches head to roll. Unbelivable.

We are heading in the right direction, tonight was a reality check of where we really are with our development. Yes we lost, but it was not a 100 point thrashing.

We are trying to improve and we may not make the 8 and still have ended up higher on the ladder than last year. Not sure how we are 'destined to be an outside the 8 club the rest of our history.' We have lost to Geelong, Collingwood, Freo and Essendon, all teams quite capable of finishing above us. I am as frustrated as the next Tiger supporter but seriously, where did you tip us to finish this year? We were always an 8th-12th proposition.

Bc we cant for the life of us get our hands on the ball. We lose first possesion and then refuse to run back to protect the back line and chase opponents. We simply become insular and wont work hard.

Well at least I've won premierships and coached in finals ... What does it take we beat Essendon 2 out of the last 3 times we played them and all of a sudden they have surpassed us. Other than the peptides this just shows our coaching is poor, maybe even our development/recruiting because we do seriously lack any pace.

Not at all we played a team who would be considered about as much better than us as St Kilda would be ahead of Bulldogs which is really nothing. We pranced around like a bunch of arrogant overpaid show pony's and got smoked by some peptides who aren't even playing near their best.

Sheedy in his peak/hey day could turn a game around with his coaching moves, hardwick has no idea he's just a plodder really, he will never be a high quality coach.

Essendon are pretty good aswell, don't take anything away from them.

That's the thing, they're really not.The way we played, a truly good team would've put us to the sword by at least ten goals. Particularly with the added benefit of the most diabolically one-sided umpiring I've seen in quite a while.

Still no excuse - we were embarassingly bad and once again shat ourselves on the big stage - probably worst four quarter performance since the Scum smashed us by a hundred in 2011.

Apart from a very slight decrease in %, we haven't gone backwards in either w/l ratio, or ladder position, we've actually gone forwards.

I didn't expect to beat Essendon, and I don't expect to beat West Coast next week. Anybody who is/was is unwise.

Our time isn't until 2014 and onwards guys, still one of the younger lists in the league remember.

2 and a half seasons ago we were what Melbourne is today. Do any of you expect Melbourne to be contending for the Top 8 in 2015? No, that's what I thought.

We're going to be just fine.
