Great memories from when i was a very little tacker.

Also it really helped me a few years later.


When i was in my early 20's i went to the snow for a long weekend. We were having a huge session at "the man" at Falls Creek when the band that were playing kept having "technical diificulties" People were getting aggro and then owner grabbed the mike and asked if anyone wanted to come up and sing a few songs - this was well before Karaoke. Well i was "fairly happy" at by this time and made my way to the stage.

When i was asked which bands songs i was going to sing I said no way - i am gunna sing tv theme songs - the crowd went nuts.

My "set" was something like this.

Gilligans island
Adams Family
Petticoat Junction
Green Acres
Dobie Gillis
Patty Duke Show
Bananna Splits
H R Puff n stuff

At the end i had to do an encore and sang the closing theme to puff n stuff.

After that i got chatting to a stunning looking girl - well at least i thought she was - all very hazy if you know what i mean.

The rest shall we say defines the term Apre Ski.

Hence why i will always remember those tunes.

Ah the good old days when singing some stupid kids theme song whilst smashed could get you laid.
