I like both futurama and the simpsons. But i found futurama target audiance to be more the nerds while the simpsons apeals to everyone.*

Favourite episodes are Time Keeps On Slippin' and Luck of the Fryrish. One thing that Futurama definitely has over The Simpsons is the quality of the DVD audio commentaries, David X. Cohen is great.

John DiMaggio is a one-man laugh track, I listen to the commentaries* pretty much for him, Cohen and West. Maurice LaMarche seems like a self-centred prick on most of them.

The Devils Hands Are Idle Playthings is one episode that stands out for me. I haven't seen any where near all the episodes that have been made, but this one I have seen a number of times. Quite touching.

Time Keeps on Slipping is beastly. One of my favourite episodes of any series ever. Hilarious and emotionally touching.

While you were gone the Globetrotters held a press conference to announce I was a jive sucker. Makes me lol everytime

The character development and continuity of Futurama is very good for a cartoon IMO. The dog episode was tragic, and been other genuinely sad eps (eg Luck of the Fryrish, The Sting). I thought the current season was decent (better than the second and 3rd movies, thats for sure), but not quite top of its game.

There are also some hilarious parts of futurama, eg everything with Zapp, the amazon women episode etc.
