We can solve it by making sure we spend plenty of time showing him around the club and getting him around the players. His easy path is to nominate us.
An old clip of Choppy on his love for footy and the club

I got banned from the Port board when I wrote that he can only go to North as F/S. Someone wrote he’s in their academy zone. ….and then the rules around next gen changed.
He does have to nominate though, and like Nick Blakey at Sydney, I'm not sure what connection the boy would have to a city and a club in another state.

Yeah but unless he’s going to be picked 40+ he could end up anywhere. Different to the Blakey situation, he was guaranteed to stay in Sydney

WA/SA NGA Metro rules state they can't be picked up in the top 40, similar to Freo not being able to match Jesse Motlop in the top 40 last year. Before this, they had no access to metro players at all.

While with the Northern Academies or father-sons, a club can match at any time. If he doesn't nominate for F/S, he is open to the draft.

You copped a ban for that?
For completeness THIS was his actual post:
Your club is a ****ing joke! You're the fake magpies! You have no real identity anymore! Everyone in Alberton is an inbred junkie or if they're really unlucky - a Port PAPs fan! Your tryhard Liverpool schtick has everyone outside of your club laughing their arses off at you! Why don't you all GAGF lol?!!!

Serves you right for posting on another board. I don't know why anyone would bother.
