With Archer now on the list, we now have 3 father son players.

Luke McDonald
Bailey Scott
Jackson Archer

Let's see who comes along next year with hopefully more footy to be played.

Jackson Archer (2021) ✅
Darby Scott (2021) Didn't nominate, eligible for 2022. Played a couple games for Calder in the Nab League and Aberfeldie in the EDFL.
Jai Makepeace (2021/22) Eligible but don't think he's made it. Played his footy at Morwell 3rds in the Gippy league.
Thomas Longmire (2021/22) Eligible but don't think he's made it. Played one game for the Swans Academy in the NAB league this year.
Dylan Makepeace (2022)
Cooper Harvey (2022)

In what regard?
Talent?

Talent wasn't in doubt with his uncle.

Work rate. Defensive application. Willingness to run both ways.

He's got to show he values that side of the game as much as kicking goals.

Bloke we just took at pick 1 a good role model in that regard.

From limited fragments it's a TBC as it stands.

Kid is young, he's had a very interrupted development pathway and he's got probably the best role model in footy history in terms of hard work delivering results for a Dad.

Personally I reckon he'll be fine once he gets properly into the TAC system and sees up close and personal just how hard you have to work to make it.

All valid points mate.

There's some pointers here and there that I reckon the recruiters would be watching.

As you've inferred, talent is one thing. Character and humility are other things completely. Hopefully he has those nailed along with showing strong potential in his top age football in 2022.

We need Jed to play every game through to the grand final this year.
Get his lads eligible.

Hoping he stays fit.
