Im extremely happy that Crouch selected St Kilda

He is a player that does get the ball but doesnt hurt you a great deal , Been in the system 8 years for just 94 games and wants $700k
That would just drain our salary crap and our ability to pay younger players like Bolton , Baker , Balta , RCD , Ross etc

Much rather we chased after XOH who has great leadership and a good size that can develop along with the core of our younger players
already been in the system 2 years. I would also be asking the question about Brander & Paddy Dow (dont kill me)

Dodged a bullet with Crouch.

The cap space is important for the likes of Bolton, Balta and other options

This keeps getting said 100s of times but how do you know richmond can't attract big players and still retain Bolton. Baker. Balta.

Outside of dusty and Lynch the cap situation might be better than expected. They club wouldn't initially show interest in crouch if the situation was dire.

Our out of contract players for next season is pretty ****ed
We gonna need all the cash we can spare imo

Wasnt put off by the fact crouch got done with gear.
You’ve got your head in the sand if you think that most afl players dont do it as well.
Just put off by the fact he comes from a s**t culture at Adelaide and would rather give midfield time to our younger boys like rcd, dow, botlon, ross and graham.

Trelol is a spud.
Which one of these potato type does he belong to:

KENNEBEC

This great all-rounder has white, firm flesh and thin skin. If you love making chips, you’d be hard pressed to find a better potato for the job.

Best for: baking, boiling and making chips.

SEBAGO
One of Australia’s favourite spuds, and available throughout the country, these oval shaped potatoes are a true all-rounder.

Best for: boiling, mashing, baking, roasting and turning into chips.

BINTJE
These waxy potatoes are loved for their yellow flesh and creamy texture. Found throughout the country, they are a great potato to have on hand for salads and are loved for their long shelf life.

Best for: potato salads and frying.

PONTIAC
Look out for the signature pink skin on this reliable variety. Its bright white flesh is not a good match for frying or for making chips.

Best for: boiling, baking and mashing.

COLIBAN
This floury white-fleshed potato is widely available throughout Australia and is a great option for perfect roast potatoes.

Best for: mashing, baking, roasting and making chips.

PATRONE
Often referred to as the ‘ultimate’ potato salad variety, this waxy potato is also great for roasting and baking.

Best for: potato salads, roasting and baking.

RED RASCAL
One of the most popular red varieties, this oval-shaped all-rounder has a full flavour and is ideal for most jobs. Keep the skin on for a dash a colour.

Best for: boiling, baking, frying, mashing and roasting.

DESIREE
A very popular all-rounder with pink skin and pale yellow flesh, they are particularly well suited to salads and bakes as they hold their shape well.

Best for: boiling, baking, mashing and in potato salads.

DUTCH CREAMS
One of Australia’s most-loved potatoes, these waxy beauties are available both small and large, and are distinguishable by their long, oval shape. The yellow flesh results in a rich, buttery taste that is great for mash.

Best for: mashing, boiling, roasting and pureeing.

GOLDEN DELIGHT
An oval shaped potato with smooth, yellow skin and cream-coloured flesh. Golden delights are great all rounders that are delicious cooked most ways.

Best for: mashing, roasting and frying.

KING EDWARD
This old, floury variety is the king of mashed potatoes, and can make a classic ‘crunchy on the outside, fluffy on the inside’ type of roast potato. Look out for its round to oval shape and pale skin with pink markings.

Best for: mashing, roasting and baking.

KIPFLER
Over the past decade the kipfler has become very popular throughout Australia, and is loved for its waxy texture and buttery flavour. This thin, finger-shaped potato is not recommended for roasting, frying or turning into chips.

Best for: boiling, steaming and potato salads.

NICOLA
This long oval-shaped waxy potato is distinguishable by its yellow skin, and is loved for its buttery yellow flesh that is ideal for salads.

Best for: potato salads, boiling, mashing and turning into gratins.

PINK EYE
A waxy potato with a slight nutty flavour, pink eyes are one of the best all rounder spuds. Use them in salads, steam them as a side or throw them in with the Sunday roast.

Best for: potato salads, steaming, boiling and baking.

Theres a lot of talent to be resigned there , although there’s a few I expect to either retire or take a haircut as well as some I see expendable to trade and/or delist if there’s no rapid improvement

Likely coz we haven’t the room in tpp , I’m guessing our offer to crouch was like 500s , saints was 700 , there’s your answer right their. I says earlier our fa window will open up and be clearer in 12m , I’d still have a look at blakely from Freo

This gives us some advantages going fwd. Once the AFL finally get thier act together re: list sizes/salary cap we'll be able to plan our list/cap much better going fwd

I'm not sure that is definitive evidence
