Sounds like Pickering is trying to get Collingwood organised to stitch up a trade - even offering Brisbane some suggestions to trade for. Not the normal actions of a player manager. Perhaps a little worried his golden reputation might get tarnished?

Would be amazing if that's what he meant.

I have "privately noted it" by which I mean published it in a statewide news paper.
Oh yeah, don't expect him to get the irony. I see it as "privately" as in "I made it up all on my own" as opposed to "someone told me" or "I pinched it off an internet forum" (although he totally would have).

So it appears over the last 24 hours that 'general sentiment' has gone from "send him to the draft, no exceptions, off with his head" .. To.. "We are just posturing a deal will get done". Is it fair to say once the initial rage passed we have slowly realized how ludicrous losing him to Carlton for nothing is?
