Home Ground: The WACA Ground (30,000)
Secondary Home Ground: Perth Stadium (for major home matches and Finals)
Training/ Reserves Ground: Leederville Oval
PerthRFull@0,3x.jpg

Finally, we have reached the first Expansion year. For this team we need to go back to 2020. Before the announcement, the Perth Demons moved their home ground to the WACA because of the Eagles moving there permanently. After the Announcement, the WAFC put out a call to every WAFL team to put in a bid for the AFL expansion. these bids will go through the WAFC before going though the AFL. Teams that were in mind were Perth, East Perth, the newly named Joondalup Falcons and a merger between Claremont and Subiaco but, the WAFC asked Perth and East Perth to merge and they accepted. The Perth Royals were born in 2021. With the WACA having now an AFL team and a new Big Bash team, The WACA went under a major upgrade which made the ground a 30,000 capacity. With East Perth's old home, Leederville Oval as their training ground and also the WAFC new home after the Subiaco Demolition. The Royals are looking like a future Premiership contender.

Canberra Kings
Home Ground: Manuka Oval (30,000)
Training/ Reserves Ground: Australian Institute of Sport
CanberraKFull@0,3x.jpg

This team is a sort of stuff you to GWS after ditching Canberra. After GWS left Canberra in 2020, Canberra put in a bid for their own AFL team with an upgrade of Manuka Oval to 30,000 and an expansion to the AIS to fit this team in. The AFL originally rejected this bid but after looking back at it, the AFL accepted it. With a 2 sash jumper with the colours Blue, Gold and Green, this is a team that epitomised Australia.
Now in 2030, still in Division 2, the Kings are looking to be promoted in the coming years.

Brisbane Lions
Home Ground: The GABBA (45,000)
Training/ Reserves Ground: The Reserve
BrisbaneLFull@0,3x.jpg

In 2024, The Brisbane Lions has represented the Fitzroy Football Club and The Brisbane Bears with a rebrand of their jumpers. With adding a small v to their home jumper, the Fitzroy logo on their Traditional Away jumper and a Brisbane Bears style Clash jumper. The redesign of the jumpers also has the addition of a new lion. This represents a new era of the Brisbane Lions.
Now in 2030, the Lions are currently sitting in a mid table position in Division 1. With the Reserve complete, The lions are looking to add another premiership to there cabinet.

Wellington Saints
Home Ground: Wellington Regional Stadium (25,000)
Secondary Home Ground: Docklands Stadium (2 home games)
Training/ Reserves Ground: (New) Alexandrea Park Base/ Moorabbin Oval
WellingtonSFull@0,3x.jpg

This team might be a shock to some people but this could theoretically happen still. in 2020, the saints went back to New Zealand and played 3 home games a year there. they did this because they were in a lot of debt after the Moorabbin Upgrades. The debt gradually grew over the years which meant, they played more games in Wellington. The debt got so bad that, The Saints were about to fold until, a last minute idea popped into their heads. With the AFL trying to expand the game into other countries and the Saints having a massive supporter base in Wellington, The Saints, with the help of the AFL, relocated to Wellington in 2024. While still keeping the Moorabbin training base for Melbourne and Australian games and still playing 2 home games a year at Docklands. The St Kilda Football Club isn't officially dead. yet!

State Of Origin Returns
Due to Fans Demanding for Origin to Return, the AFL has finally pulled the trigger. At the Moment there are 5 teams Victoria, Western Australia, South Australia, Tasmania and the Allies (NSW, ACT, QLD, NT). Origin will currently be played during the Pre-Season.
Now in 2030, there are all 8 states and territories playing in Origin. there are 3 stages of origin. First stage is Qualification for the main series. The teams in this include NSW, ACT, QLD, ACT and TAS. the other teams has a bye for this round. the top 2 teams makes it through. Stage 2 is the main stage. 5 teams play each other once. the top 2 teams makes it through to the Grand Final Series which takes place in October.
Now lets move on to the designs

Actually mate, sorry to be that guy, (but I'm going to anyway) but NSW colours are sky blue and a darker blue. Either blue or navy blue, along with the required sky. ;)

Northern Territory Titans
Home Ground: Marrara Stadium (25,000) (6 home games)
Secondary Home Ground: Traeger Park (17,500) (5 home games)
Training/ Reserves Ground: (New) Marrara Park

NTTFull@0,3x.jpg

In 2020, the AFL originally announced 2 new teams to enter but, with the amount of great bids that came in later dates, the AFL announced 4 new teams to come in. 2 in 2026 and 2 in 2030. The AFL kept the teams location a secret until the year before. The Titans, formally known as the NT Thunder, are one of the two teams that would enter this year. this bid was heavily backed by the Northern Territory Government. This bid saw a major redevelopment of Traeger Park and the Marrara Park Precincts. This bid was heavily criticised by people because of the weather and population of the state. The Government replied with a bold statement. 'If ACT and Tasmania can get a team, Anybody can." The AFL accepted their bid with both praise and hate, but know everyone can accept that this was a good move by the AFL. While still in division 2, The Titans are looking dangerous with there massive home ground advantage due to the lengthy away trip and the temperature.

Southern Sharks
Home Ground: Norwood Oval (25,000)
Secondary Home Ground: Adelaide Oval
Training/ Reserves Ground: Unley Oval

SouthernSFull@0,3x.jpg

Now to South Australia. Back in 2020 when the AFL put bids out, the SANFL did the same thing as the WAFL. Ask teams if they were interested in biding for a spot in the AFL. The Teams that wanted to join were North and South Adelaide in a merger, Norwood as a standalone bid and Sturt. The SANFL thought that the a merger between North and South Adelaide would have an big enough supporter base so the SANFL like the WAFL asked the Redlegs and the Double Blues to merge. They originally declined but after the NT bid was successful, they pulled the trigger on a merge. Now under the banner of the Southern Sharks. This was one of the original ideas for the crows so with a colour theme and identity all ready made, it was easy to pick what to go for. playing out of an upgraded Norwood Oval, there is no better time to be apart of South Australian Football.

Sydney Swans
Home Ground: SCG (46,000)
Training/ Reserves Ground: (New) Moore Park Base/ Albert Park

SydneySFull@0,3x.jpg

Now in the great year of 2027, the completion of Sydney's new Moore Park Base is complete. Also they have signed a deal with the Victorian Institute of Sport to train at Albert Park before every Victorian away game. Like Brisbane they are hovering their past by having 2 South Melbourne style jumpers. the First will be worn in every game in Victoria with the classic V. the 2nd will be their Pre-season jumper. This jumper was based on South's first jumper.
Now in 2030, still in division 1, Sydney are looking strong and won't leave their division anytime soon.

Western Bulldogs
Home Ground: Eureka Stadium (25,000) (5 home games)
Secondary Home Ground: Docklands Stadium, Queen Elizabeth Oval (3 games each)
Training/ Reserves Ground: Whitten Oval, (New) Eureka Sports Park
WesternBFull@0,3x.jpg

Over the Years the Western Bulldogs has increased the amount of games they play in Ballarat. This lead to a "full" relocation to Western Victoria with there main base is in Ballarat. While still playing games out of Docklands to still appeal to their city fans, this team now represents everywhere from Footscray to the boarder of South Australia. While still playing reserve games out of Whitten Oval, they are slowly moving their Main teams base to the newly constructed Eureka Sports Park. also now playing games in Bendigo and a permanent move to Ballarat in the Pipeline, the Bulldogs are truely the "Sons of the West."

Port Adelaide Power
Home Ground: Adelaide Oval
Training/ Reserves Ground: Alberton Oval
PortAdelaidePFull@0,3x.jpg

Now in 2028, Port Adelaide has brought back the prison bar jumper for their main team. This was also done because of the end of the Eddie McGuire reign at Collingwood. With a teal top with white bars and black bottom, it isn't the original prison bars but it still looks better that their old V jumper. With a silver, teal and white clash jumper and the original prison bar jumper as a heritage. Port has gone back to its' roots while still keeping their modern colours.

Collingwood Magpies
Home Ground: MCG (100,000)
Training/ Reserves Ground: Olympic Park Base/ Victoria Park
CollingwoodMFull@0,3x.jpg

As stated before, it is the end of the Eddie McGuire Era at Collingwood. With this Collingwood went back to a white home and a black clash. Now incorporating Grey in all of there jumpers and a Grey Preseason/ 3rd jumper. This is a return to old for Collingwood, but still keeping it modern. Also now with a revamp to Victoria Park for their AFLW and Reserves teams, there is no greater time to be side by side at Collingwood.

Adelaide Crows
Home Ground: Adelaide Oval
Training/ Reserves Ground: (New) Red Gum Park Base
AdelaideCFull@0,3x.jpg

In 2029, the Crows officially moved from their Football Park base to their new Red Gum Park base. they choose the cite for Red Gum Park because it is right close to the Adelaide Oval and they didn't want to move out to the outer regions of Adelaide. This marks a new era for the Crows with a new logo and new Clash and 3rd jumpers. With the crows just surviving in Division 1 currently, they need to up their game if they want to survive in the top division.

Fremantle Dockers
Home Ground: Fremantle Oval (45,000)
Training/ Reserves Ground: Cockburn Oval
FremantleDFull@0,3x.jpg

The construction is finally complete. Fremantle has finally moved to their new home. Their new home is packed out week in, week out (which was never achieved at the Perth Stadium) and they finally feel at home. This also see's the return of the anchor jumper. With a full purple home, inverse clash and the original tri-colour home as a heritage, Fremantle has gone back to its roots. While still stuck in Division 2, they are looking to go up in the next year or 2.

I reckon the Sydney 3rd kit should be the red sash one that they wore against Collingwood.

Now before we get into the Final year, we have to go through some teams that aren't involved in the timeline that much.
Geelong Cats
Home Ground: Kardinia Park (45,000)
Training/ Reserves Ground: Deakin University/ Kardinia Park Precinct
GeelongCFull@0,3x.jpg

With the New Facilities Built at Deakin and at Kardinia Park, Geelong are in a great state. With sold out games at Kardinia Park and no need to play any games at the 'G' (which includes Finals), Geelong's wealth and supporter base has grown drastically. Currently playing in the 1st division, Geelong are ready to pounce on the Premiership Cup.

Richmond Tigers
Home Ground: MCG (100,000)
Training/ Reserves Ground: Punt Road Oval
RichmondTFull@0,3x.jpg

After Richmond's Premiership success in 2017, it hasn't been so happy in Tiger land. After losing the 2019 and 2020 Grand Finals, Richmond were relegated down to Division 2 in 2024. While still playing at the 'G' and still having 70,000+ members, the Tigers are stuck in Division 2 and are not looking to go up anytime soon.

Essendon Bombers
Home Ground: Docklands Stadium (50,000)
Training/ Reserves Ground: The Hanger/ Windy Hill
EssendonBFull@0,3x.jpg

The Bombers are one of the clubs that keep on going up and down in the Divisions. While having a good run in Division 1 for 3 years, the Bombers are currently looking for Promotion. With Huge upgrades to the Hanger and to Windy Hill to accomodate their AFLW and reserves teams. With a great young list and looking for promotion, the future is bright for the Baby Bombers.
