2031
In 2031, the once powerful WAFL and SANFL was bought by the AFL. With massive amount of debt after the recent inclusion of 2 new Perth and Adelaide based teams (Perth Royals & Southern Sharks), The competitions has been struggling to continue. The AFL has stated that clubs from both competitions could enter the AFL if they either merged with existing clubs or had good enough bid to enter by them selves.
Also in this year, The AFL made an announcement that every AFL club should have their own home by 2050. For Victorian team they will be able to play at the MCG and at Docklands before their stadiums are complete. Major matches will be played at the MCG and Docklands instead of Victorian teams home grounds.

Hobart Kangaroos
Home Ground: Bellerive Oval (30,000)

HobartKFull@0,5x.png

2032 marks the first year of the Hobart Kangaroos existence. The Kangaroos, formerly of North Melbourne, has finally given in to the temptation of fully relocating to Tasmania. This marks an momentous occasion as the first fully Tasmanian team in the competition. After decades of Tasmanians wanting a team for their own, and the AFL not wanting to add a team their, the Kangaroos gave that lifeline to Tasmanian Football. A lifeline that they needed so desperately.

St Kilda Saints
Home Ground: Junction Oval (40,000)

StKildaSFull@0,5x.png

Now your probably thinking, that St Kilda moved to Wellington. Well you are correct but, the AFL ordered in 2033, for the Saints too move back to Australia. This was because, not for the AFL failing in New Zealand but, succeeding there. The Saints helped kickstart a New Zealand only League which helped bring over a ton of New Zealand talent to the AFL. When St Kilda moved back, They made a deal with Cricket Victoria to play at the newly built Junction Oval. St Kilda has had major success in their relocation back to Victoria and is looking to continue that success into the future.

Liking the idea of the Saints in New Zealand, similar to my original portfolio i was doing, looking forward to this, should be intriguing.

Ballarat Bulldogs
Home Ground: Eureka Stadium (35,000)

In 2034 with teams needing their own home ground, the Bulldogs finally pulled the trigger on a full relocation to Ballarat, finally giving them a permanent team. The Bulldogs has gone all in with the relocation, upgrading Eureka Stadium to 35,000 capacity that can be upgraded to 40,000 for Finals. With still a base at Whitten Oval but also at Eureka Sports Park, the Bulldogs are looking for another Premiership.

Greater Western Sydney Giants
Home Ground: Stadium Australia (80,000)

GWSGFull@0,5x.png

The Giant's has became a Major AFL Club. A Major Club needs a Major Stadium. In 2035, the Orange Tsunami has moved to the newly built Stadium Australia. While their Reserves team and AFLW team plays at the Showgrounds, the 1st's has moved to Stadium Australia. Stadium Australia is now co-owned by the NRL and the FFA which makes it the home of the NRL Grand Final and the home of the Socceroos. Moving the Giants to the Olympic stadium was a massive risk with the clashing codes but it has payed off.

Gold Coast Suns

Home Ground: Carrara Stadium (40,000)
GCSFull@0,33x.png

In 2035, The Suns have moved back into their one and only home at Carrara Stadium. Thew ground has been upgraded to 40,000 seats to fill their eager fans. They have build the repartition of being one of the most supported teams in the competition. The Suns have kept it simple with their jumpers. Keeping the Southport V representing the original Coast Club's heritage.

Canberra Kings
Home Ground: Manuka Oval (40,000)
CanberraKFull@0,33x.png

In the final part of 2035, the Kings has moved to their new 40,000 seat Manuka Oval. They have still been able to play games their during the renovations but, it hasn't been a capacity crowd. The Kings has also gone under a rebrand. Removing the green to make it ACT State colours Blue and Yellow. On their jumper is Capital house representing Canberra being the capital of Australia. This season is going to be a great 1 for the Kings.

Joondalup Falcons
Home Ground: Arena Joondalup (30,000)
JoondalupFFull@0,33x.png

As I stated in the First Future of the AFL Portfolio, West Perth fully relocated to Joondalup to try and gain entry into the AFL but, they were out done by an East Perth, Perth Merger. Now with the AFL buying the State Leagues and bringing in teams from them, The Falcons are Officially the First team to enter the AFL after phase 1. The falcons have donned a 2 sash strip to distinguish themselves from teams like Essendon and Richmond. The Falcons have built a brand new 30,000 seat stadium where Arena Joondalup used to be. The Falcons have been really well supported in their first year and are looking forward to the future.

Subiaco-Claremont Wildcats

Home Ground: WA Athletics Stadium (20,000)
SCWFull@0,33x.png

The Second Team to enter in 2036 are the Subiaco Claremont Wildcats. A Merger between the Lions and the tigers has created this new identity of the Wildcats. Playing out of the Lions Pre-Merger Home the WA Athletics Stadium, The Stadium in Winter is configured into a Boutique AFL Stadium. The Wildcats didn't want to use the sash or the stripes so with the blessing of The Werribee Tigers in the VFA, they were allowed to use the W jumper that they have worn. They have had great support from their first year and are looking to continue their early success into the future.

Norwood-Sturt Sharks
Home Ground: Norwood Oval (40,000)
NSSFull@0,33x.jpg

In 2037, The Southern Sharks went under a rebrand to connect with there Past and the Norwood-Sturt Sharks were born. Still playing out of Norwood Oval and the occasional at Adelaide Oval, The Sharks are looking for a Division 1 spot and will do anything to get it. The Redlegs and the Double Blues Legacy will live on with this team.
