Let’s see how McRae goes when they lose 5 in a row and the inevitable Collingwood scandal erupts . It’s very easy to be jovial and have a cracking sense of humour when you have only lost 3 games for the year.

Yes - Bevo was as flat as a carters hat in the last month, but generally he offers more insight than most and does have a sense of humour.

If we finished on top a game clear , Bevo would have been a stand up comedian at most press conferences.

When my kids were young I read Brothers Grim fairy tales constantly to them. There are the famous stories and many not so famous as well. And there are many deep lessons and metaphors in them. One lesson struck me the most and just kept coming up was similar across many stories. There would be some older arrogant brothers on an adventure and a younger one who was always in their shadow. On the adventure the older brothers would come across a beggar women or old blind man and he or she would ask for a crust of bread or a sip of wine etc. And the older brothers were too important and busy to bother with the pathetic peasant, but the younger brother would stop and help from his own goodwill. The old peasant would turn out to be a prince or princess in a magic disguise. The lesson was always simple, that you should never treat others poorly, no matter who they are. It is one of the great tests of your own character.
If Bevo is treating the journalists so poorly (and I know some are just pricks, but some are genuinely asking good questions) it is a real life test of his character. Bevo maybe needs to incorporate one of these stories into his repertoire. He would benefit personally.

Spangher was doing Vfl interchange on the weekend so wouldn't be shocked if he's doing more vfl and forward development role
