Pick swap: Adelaide trade #33 and #50 to Melbourne for future 2nd and future 4th* round picks (tied to Melbourne)

*It is possible that Melbourne have traded Brisbane's future 4th, rather than their own, as they had both, however on balance trading their own seems more likely, and is implied in the official tweet below.

Also fixed up a formatting issue with traded picks not bolding correctly. Gremlins :rolleyesv1:

*Although AFL House hasn't specified, North Melbourne traded their own future 4th to Melbourne, so the only future 4th they have to trade atm is Brisbane's.

Oops, forgot to hit post. 🤔

I've made a duplicate of the spreadsheet just as a 'for now' until we can get proper confirmation.

    Speculative update includes:

Correction: Jaidyn Stephenson and Atu Bosenavalugi (Collingwood) to North Melbourne with #39 in exchange for #26, #33, #70. (i.e. #70 in 2020, not Brisbane's future 4th that North had.)

Jye Caldwell (GWS) to Essendon with #44 and #74 in exchange for #29 and a future 2nd round pick (tied to Essendon)

Jeremy Cameron (GWS) to Geelong with two future 2nd round picks (tied to GWS and Essendon) in exchange for #13, #15, #20 and a future 4th round pick (tied to Geelong)

Managed to dig something official out of Pat Keane, who used to be the AFL's media relations guy for like 20 years and now works in the office of the CEO. Seems more responsive than the actual media relations person...

Jye Caldwell (GWS) traded to Essendon with #44 and #74 for #29 and future 2nd (tied to Essendon)

Assuming Collingwood's own future 4th, the only other one they had was Brisbane's. Usually AFL House specifies if it's not their own though. (There is a rule that you can't trade it back to who you got it from but Collingwood got it from Melbourne so that wouldn't be an impediment in this case.)

    Pick swap: Hawthorn get 66, 69 & future 2nd, Collingwood get 41 & 42
