As amazing as all of that stuff is, I feel that we are in the best age to live in at the moment. I don't want to get so advanced that we have to talk telepathically while funding could go into ridding the world of poverty. I'd be more interested to see if we could create water ourselves and food without having to use our natural resources, which I would like to eat properly and not through a capsule.

Those in the early 1900's wouldn't have known any different. And it was really only the second half of the 20th century that the rate of technological advantages went ballistic. So it's only a fairly recent concept to know that the world your grandchildren will grow up in will be a lot different to the one you did.I always wondered how sucky it would have been to have lived in the early 1900's when there were no computers, televisions... people in the future will be looking back and saying the same thing. We're going to miss out on so much..
