RTB said in the post game interview that Fyfe was taken iff because he had cramped up, most likely from only training the past week

Simmo, Fyfe ain't injured!!! Surely tonight showed you that? Taken off as the game was won and he was blowing up.

I hope we don't overstate his abilities, only sets him up to disappoint. Rewatched the game his first qtr was quiet, subbed off in the third.

He played CHF in the first quarter while we were smashed in the midfield.
I would say Mundy is the bloke who time slows down for. Fyfe just has a great footballing brain and perfect timing, not to mention nice skills and high athleticism. And I think Nat Fyfe is the first Nat Fyfe; old Golden Boy is a figure I don't think too many players want to be pooled with...
What burden?Im not taking anything away from Fyfey, his clearance work alone is second to none (gotta laugh at a fool on the Pies board who said he was overrated), just don't want a burden of expectation to accompany what is becoming a huge hype.

RTB said in media that Fyfe was taken off due to niggling leg issue during pre-season. No point playing him when the game has been won.
