Is the Brownlow favourite in trouble for the below incident?



Commentators are down playing it and Channel 7 aren't showing replays of it but contact is made with forearm to Duryea's head.

Think back to the Tippett incident and he could be in trouble

I know the MRP apparently doesn't take precedence into account, but you'd think on the basis of what they've dished out before that he will get at least a week for that. I don't think it warrants a week (the 50m penalty should be enough), but it seems likely. Although the MRP aren't entirely predictable in any way, so who knows.

But Firrito the week before got nothing for a punch to the back of Franklin's head in a marking contest. It's totally inconsistent. The thing is, I'd rather they all not get any weeks for those sort of incidents. Fyfe should be free to play next week, but who knows if the MRP will actually let him.

Yep -he might go. Duryea, of course, put Bartel out for most of the year, and has sent Watson on his way too, so hard to be too sympathetic.

If he does cop a fine, I think they have a rule that 3 "misconduct" events result in a suspension
