Ha the 2nd article loses all credibility when the writer refers to Watts as a "gun big man". Lol

I'd wager if Bailey was still coaching that's exactly what he would be.

sportnewsfirst.com hey?

Had a read, I hope it's BS, but if they were chatting to viney about aking over as coach should neeld go - then atleast we'd be happy in that regard, but I do not think Neeld should go. If Neeld goes, then McLardy and Craig should also go - along with harrington royal and co. Basically clean them all out.

Kim Hagdorn. Bullshit.

As it stands - I'd be very happy with Viney being in charge of the club.

I feel he's got the respect of the players, and is an actual leader - not just a tough guy pretending to be a leader (with all due respect Neeldy, I'll assume that until you prove otherwise).

The stagnation of a few of our players development is worrying, and if Viney's expressing concern I'd trust him - he does have a really good track record at both Adelaide and Hawthorn.

Viney actually in charge isn't a good idea for mine as he wasn't any better than bailey when he took over , and also if things stay the same or get worse while he's in charge it's gonna be difficult for him to go back to player development

Watts has showed plenty of talent, even if it only seems to be when were up or at least close.
I for one was impressed with his role last year but not sure why he isn't in the same role this year.
From what i'v heard he seems a little lost and unsure of his new role. Yes an attitude change is needed but he isn't the only one who needs it

Absolutely spray worthy, but Neeld was relatively calm. Not sure which footage Footy Smarts is referring to

That was the footage. It wasn't an out of control spray by any means but whatever he was saying didn't exactly look positive. Maybe it's just Neeld's normal intensity that gave me that impression.

Of course it was an awful kick but parts of that play were actually good. I mean he ran into space and opened up the long option. If you look at the replay he's got a man free over the top which would open the game up but he looks like he didn't back himself to make that pass so tried the shorter option and shanked it.

Perhaps Neeld just coaches a different way to what I'd expect or there was something from training which meant it was the reasonable response. From my point of view Morton knew he'd ****ed up. The crowd were giving it to him too. For a guy who was really putting in at the start of last season (his performance wasn't great but his effort was very good early last year) but was often the scape-goat of fans a more encouraging method might've been better.

I'm looking from the outside though and don't understand the dynamic particularly well. All I'm saying is that Neeld should be easily able to answer why he made these decisions and why he thought it would get the most out of his players. Having that sort of plan and outlook is essential to getting the most out of your players. Like I said, as an outsider, to me it doesn't look like this is the case since some decisions (not just the response to Morton by any means) don't really make sense if the aim is to get the most out of the players.

I reckon you are looking for something that isn't there

To me, a.) he starts by saying "Cale"

If he was just ripping him, he'd just start blasting. He wouldn't be using his name to get his attention

b.) looks like he says "look to the fat side"

is he not allowed to point out what he should've done? Should he have just let it go? Let me guess, then it would've been "Neeld isn't hard enough or doesn't tell his players what they should've done to correct their mistake

Fair enough you're probably right.

Kim Hagdorn. Bullshit.

Most definitely, yeah.

For anyone else who doesn't know, Kim Hagdorn is a WCE troll poster around this place. I outed his sportsnewsfirst involvement last year when he was engaging in moronic personal smears about Mitch on the MB.
