Certainly. I assume you're thinking along the lines of they should have taken him to trial or something, but really, he declared war on them, and died on the battlefield as a result of that.

Yes, but depending on which report was correct, it's entirely possible that his murder was a war crime. The White House themselves admit this.

No. That was actually worse. They went in with the clear objective to murder him and they also ended up killing some of his family members.

I understand he was a piece of shit, but even the worst dictators are entitled to a trial. Poor decision from the rebels and wouldn't be surprised if it incited retaliation from Gaddafi supporters.
