Very different side today. Our coach going against his old side for the first time. (In fact it was Sydney that effectively got him the job last year.)
100% right - this time the swans are stronger so we should lose by 6 or 7 goals - after all we played the swans c grade side last year and couldn't beat them..

I don't think you can base our capabilities on a single game where we were that bad we sacked the coach.

Much stronger team then the one that played Melbourne, though I reckon most of the senior blokes will just be having a run.

I think the Swans are going to in the bottom half of the bottom 8.

This will be a good measuring stick as to where we are really at, no excuses and this certainly isnt a Wizard Cup style practice match.

It's all but a H&A game without the points.

Not sure how many games Rod Marsh played at Kingston. It was a tough era playing the mighty Windies in the 80’s. The Aussies struggled iirc.

Bit like ourselves this Pre Season

Can’t even win an Intraclub

Two words

“just win”
Gaso is back doing the match day thread = winning before the ball has bounced..

Agree - I have them very much in the bottom rung.

Thx Sherms.

Think I will struggle during the regular season with 12.00.01am postings

Hitting 51.5 years of age has slowed me down. Dunno how Horace does it and I am 40 years behind him

A bit of confidence going in to round 1 would be nice. Why are we always so s**** this time of year?
