GAME DAY: Carlton vs. West Coast

Worst part is I doubt that we would have won today, even with a full team. They have beaten us in every facet, comprehensively.

Warnock is useless.

I know I"m being negative and should stop typing, but this is just pathetic from some of our boys.

To many passengers today, Warnock is not good enough at this level, aside from a few hitouts he does nothing, Henderson is not showing enough up forward and without Waite we have needed him to step up, maybe he is more suited in defence.

Although we have had our share of injuries today we are still yet to beat a top 5 team, so we still need some improvement in some areas probably a Josh Kennedy/Cloke would address a weakness in our team.

We had 3 marks for the day inside forward 50, our game plan is structured around the smalls up forward, not sure we have Plan B when Walker/Gartlett are locked down.

IT's a disappointing game to see us play given our past few weeks. The players on the ground just aren't up to it for whatever reason.

I'm disappointed with our stars who did very little.

It's a good time to lose a game I think.

Blues look tired. Poor running, poor chasing, weak contests in the air especially by our talls, half hearted tackling, poor spread. I know we have players out but what's going on with this poor running and lack of effort? Really missing Robbo, Duigan, Waite, Laidler and Bower all fit. Ellard, Houlihan, Kreuzer, Warnock, Russell and Austin are really struggling but it's more of a team problem.

Henderson, Kreuzer and Warnock are too easily beaten one on one and pushed under it.

We are 5 down half way through the last and I still havent given up hope.

I don't disagree with you. However, like I said, pea heart is harsh. Footy is an emotional game and the run of the game was not looking good. And, as it happens, it looks like those who may have been calling it early (and I was not one of them), may have been right. Eagles have played really well today.

As much as I like the kid, I think hendo's role needs to be assessed. Without Waite I the side, he is next to useless. Might actually be better in the backline, which is a shame.

Agree with this but let's not forget it's only Kreuzer's third game back.

As for us missing a fit Bower, he's not played much this year so i'm neither here nor there with that one.

Army too needs to start to be filtered out.

The loss of Curnow and not being replaced by someone like McLean seems to have had a significant effect on Judd's game.

The All-Australian fullback went down in the first q, had a first gamer, and a bloke playing senior footy for the first time in a year down back. At one stage we had Gibbs standing Lynch.

We got utterly smashed in the rucks. Totally routed.

Our 2 best mids had off days.

West Coast are a top 4 side.

That is that, am off for a massive 3 paper trumpet.
