Plenty of rain about at the moment, 2mm of rain in the last hour according to the weather channel. On a positive note it should mean we don't get blown away, on a negative note it might also mean that Hardwicks plan of running the Power off their legs could be useless especially if the game becomes an tight in close tussle.

that does it, i am not going to watch us get beaten again AND get rained on all afternoon. Now do i bother to watch it on the tv or not? Griffiths is probably the only reason i am tempted.

We are getting closer and closer to a win each and every week. Our side is getting better.

We were a 50+ point losing team, then we were a 40+ losing team, now we are a 0-40 losing team.

Re: Game Day Discussion/Vent Thread Round 10

honestly buddy, we are a chance in this game which, honestly, is the most we are going to get before a game this year. This is a game to watch, especially after watching Port Adelaide x Melbourne's replay up in Darwin. They were on the brink of death, hence mark jamar having to do his interview whilst sitting on the ground.

Yes the rain in unfortunate, but we are in with a chance, and with the prospect of Griffiths coming through, it is a game to be seated in front of the big screen.

COME ON tigers.

I think a heavy track could help in this regard. Hopefully it will tire the players quicker and any lingering fatigue for Port from the hard game in draining conditions last week will come into play late in the game..

Of course if we have had one of those bad lapses early in the game and been blown out of the water, it wont make much difference

Chances of a win increase with Brogan being a late withdrawal.
They brought in a tall forward to replace him. Could hurt the match-ups although that means Trengove will probably have to play perma-ruck all day.

Jackson isn't exactly in the same class as Brogan. Won't really hurt matchups too much as they still only have 2 talls up forward.

3 unless Westhoff floats around the ground.

McGuane (192cm), Moore (190cm) v Westhoff (198 cm), Salter (191cm), Stewart (199cm).

Looks like a swamp at AAMI. Going to be an absolute slog

Given the conditions I doubt those talls will be that damaging.

I'm quite excited. Don't mind our chances, but would love Foley to be playing, same with Jackson. A couple more hard bodies would be very handy in these conditions. This leg epidemic sweeping the club can just get ****ed to be quite honest.

If I may... If your boys play like they did against the crows for 3.5 quarters, you are a huge chance. Port have no real match-winners to bother about. But If Port kick a couple of arse-goals (which happens often) then they might get on that downhill ski slope.

Geez, that would make it two weeks in a row that's happened to us.
