Have never been so excited for a TV show before..
Having read the books first, I'm very pleased with series so far. They handled fitting an 800+ page book into 10 hours of screentime without dropping too much important information(minus the Blackfish, of course).
Although a few things miff me: what's with Jaimes accent? And how could they not cast Michael Wincott as Roose Bolton? The man was born for the role

Well the actor who plays him is Danish and is seemingly trying an English accent. I kind of like it though, adds a bit of mystery to him.
Are book spoilers being talked about ITT? Just want to know before I starting reading thread since I havn't read the books.
LOL, cheers. I figured it was Scandanavian, but I couldn't be sure.

Picked it up today at JB. $49 for 5 disc Blu-Ray or $53 with bonus disc. I know it works out a couple of bucks cheaper ordering off Amazon, but I'll be watching from ep 1 again as of tomorrow night...in 1080p glory.

Purchased the Limited Edition Blu Ray yesterday and it's brilliant. Highly recommended for anyone who hasn't read the books as the features provide great insight into the history of Westeros and the Noble Houses.
