Arya v Brienne is seriously my favourite 1v1 fight of the whole series now. Brienne underestimating Arya early. Arya beating her the first two times. Brienne going up to full tilt. The kick in the chest where Brienne goes 'oh shit I just kicked her in the chest'. Then the music builds, Arya and Brienne toe-to-toe, the loss of the sword, the use of the dagger. One of the best 2mins we've had in the whole series.

yeah...........Nah

BoB's shat all over this episode
BoB is the worst battle in the series. Plot holes galore and just two sides running at it each with no strategy. Its boring. It almost became a jumping the shark moment but luckily the show redeemed itself massively in the episode afterwards.

YOur worried about tactics in a Fantasy show, and hate an episode where they run at each other (like medieval times)

but loved a battle where a Dragon did the most damage, and was shot at by a big crossbow.

hmmmmm. ok

The BofB's battle scene was just so well done. the close ups of Jon fighting, where horses just impact at speed a man fighting in the background. And plenty more, was actually one of the best shot fight scenes I have ever seen.

Plot holes not included.

I don't think I took a breath the whole time watch BofB's from start to finish. This battle didn't do that to me as good as it was.

I'm not sure how Jamie would get out both alive and not in chains.

Having the dothraki wanting to gut him and the hand of the queen panicking trying to keep his brother alive

I don't think she would care but he has to come up to breathe eventually and there was a lot of his enemies surrounding a little pond.

I don't think they would leave her alone either.
Does he?

I'm sure he will survive, but I'm not sure that that sort of armour wouldn't weigh you down massively in real life

I'm not concerned about the Dothraki and the Rose Road - teleportation has been established for a while in the show. I don't necessarily love it, but I can deal with it. And I get why they do it.

What I'm interested in though - Bronn and Jamie will be captured by Danny almost certainly. Jamie now knows that Tyrion didn't kill Joffrey. Tyrion clearly still has affection for Jamie. Tyrion and Bronn have a history and Bronn is hardly loyal to Cersei. It will be interesting to see where that goes.

As much of a flog as Littlefinger is, I love the way he just sits on the sidelines spectating and getting so much amusement from things that others are taking so seriously.
Considering Bran quoted Littlefinger himself with the whole "Chaos is a ladder" he'd be absolutely shitting himself given what Bran knows.

Be very surprised if Littlefinger is still around come the end of the season.
