The club still think we are a shot at the flag and those older more experienced players are more likely to get us there. Thats why we gave up two first rounders for a 30 year old playing in the SANFL.
And yet some here will defend it.

Should learn a lesson from Port and Geelong. Geelong keep playing their youth in Miers, Clarke, Rateg, Henry. Plenty of older blokes who could be in their spot.

Port, although inconsistent, can actually beat the big dogs while we never can, while carrying a whole bunch of first year players.

the better teams in the competition back in talent, no matter how old. we are so scared to take a risk on someone. we dont even give young guys a chance to be shit, let alone good.
